Moon Dance

As my final video and sound clip, I choose to edit my images that I took when capturing a full moon a couple of weeks ago. I looked at the images and the sound and found a correlation between the two completely different topics, that is almost similar to night and day. Check it out.

By the Moonlight

During a recent full moon, I went out to capture pictures of the gorgeous full moon. However, since it was windy out, I was unable to successfully hold my camera still. The result was a pattern of lightened streaks captured with my camera. Take a look!

Patriotism

After recent events at Virgina Tech, I pondered what patriotism actually meant to us and how we have displayed it during this time. Throughout my trek, I looked for sounds and images of patriotism and complied it all into a video.

Clickity-Clack

When recently walking through the UW-Milwaukee Union, I heard an intersting loud clack made by a pair of high heels. I started to wonder why certain shoes create creatin noises and how we can break that norm.

Rain Drops

As I continued my trek, the weather turned on me and started to rain. But, instead of fleeing like others, I found some interesting image clips that the rain produced within a short amount of time and paired it with other sorts of rain-like sounds.

Circle

This clip was an idea that was formed from my second trek editing session. I thought it wouls be interesting to see different things in a fluent motion that would symbolize flow of daily life. After awhile, I noticed a relation between circles and motion.

Draft Production Strategy

a) I plan on making a large trek recording on the main courtyard behind the UW-Milwaukee union and in front of the Golda Meir Library.
b) By using light and dark images, I can create a certain dynamic between day and night that could possibly be a theme in my project. I could also use light and dark images to set certain moods or tones for my piece.
c) Sound will be easy to capture in the courtyard, especially if its during lunchtime when there are a lot of people walking by, skateboarding, or just talking. All of that different interaction will create an interesting recording.
